You ask. We answer.

Once upon a time there was a fashion designer who introduced the little wrap dress to the world. Everyone went ballistic and all women wanted to own one. So, they went out there, bought a little wrap dress and the rest is history. The name of Diane Von Furstenberg and the little wrap dress became an item.

30 years later, history repeats itself. Wherever you go, you see women of all ages wearing a little wrap dress. Not all of them can afford a DVF version, but this is not a problem anymore, as it seems that every store either high end, high street or independent, offers a little wrap dress version to the demanding crowd.

I love little wrap dresses and on occasion I will wear one too. But I try to spice it up a bit, so that I don’t look like the ‘little wrap dress’ converted consumers, who seem to be everywhere these days. I wear it with boots and a leather short jacket to give it some edge, wedges and chunky bracelets to extend the 70s vibe, or jean stovepipes and high heeled sandals to make the look funky for evening.

The whole idea of the little wrap dress it to be versatile and show off one’s personal style, not to make its fans clones of one another. When you wear a little wrap dress, remember to accessorize it with your own personal touch. Make it original and make it your own, to reflect its endless possibilities and most importantly yourself. Like Diane once did.
